Honored artist of Russia Sergey Zagadkin
Sergey Zagadkin was born in Samara, June 21, 1959. In 1978 graduated from the State Musical College in Samara (class of L.A.Muraviova).
In 1984 - Gnesin's State Musical Pedagogical Institute (Moscow, class of Peoples Artist of Russian Federation professor A.G.Sevidov).
Sergey Zagadkin - laureate of the Concourse named after D.B.Kabalevsky (1976, Kuybyshev).
Laureate of the Russian open Concourse of musical colleges in Pskov (third prize) in 1977.
The Diplomant of the International Concourse named after Viotti (Vercelly, Italy), 1991.
1983-1986 - teacher of the special piano at Kuybyshev Musical College.
Since 1986 - solouist of the Samara State Philharmonic Society.
Since 1993 - Associate Professor of the piano chair at the Samara's State Academy of Art and Culture.
Since 1974 every year Zagadkin performs With a State Academic Symphonic Orchestra of Samara.
His Repertory includes 15 concerts for piano and orchestra, among then are Chaikovsky № 1, Beethoven - 3 and 5,Concerto for Piano, Violin and Cello, Rachmaninoff-1, 2, 3, Brahms - 2, six monographic concert-programmes - Beethoven, Shumann, Liszt, Chopin, Chaikovsky, Rachmaninoff and also compositions by Skryabin, Musorgsky and other composers.
Sergey Zagadkin successfully performs during his quest - tours around Russia (Moscow, Volgograd, Ufa, Saratov, Toglyatty, Syzran, Orenburg, Ulyanovsk…), in Italy (Manerba del Garda, Dezenziano, Breshia, Puenyago). In 1993 with the Samara State Philharmonic Orchestra he played in Beijing, China and recorded the CD (the first concert by Chaikovsky).
The pianist has records on the Ostankino TV, Beijing TV, Samara Radio and TV,records the 3 CD in the Laboratory of Music Technology of Academy of Art and Culture. (Samara). He cooperates with famous conductors - G.Provatorov, A.Vedernikov, A.Boreyko, A.Skulsky, A.Rudin, T.Minbayev, M.Scherbakov, V.Nesterov, B.Benkogenov, G.Klementiev and other…Director of International Festifalles in Samara ; "Five evenings near the piano''; "32 Sonatos and 5 Concertos by Beethoven"; "Arts of Rachmaninoff"…
He performs ensemble playing with A.Skavronsky, A.Sevidov, N.Zagadkin, D.Cirin.
In 1992 - 1994 S.Zagadkin visited the masterclass of the professors E.V.Malinin and S.L.Dorensky in Moscow State Conservatory and the professor A.G.Skavronsky and E.Libermann in Russian Academy of Music in Moscow.
He is deeply involved in pedagogical and performing activities and he brought up laureates and diplomants of international and national contests P.Nazarov, A.Mulkidgjanian, I.Didyk, E.Dyomova, O.Struk, N.Kojin, T.Panina, O.Harchenko. Pianist gives the masterclasses in the Institutes and colleges of Russia (Orenburg, Togliatty, Volgograd and others …).

(Luciano Gante 'in Venise , 8th International piano Competition "Mauro Paolo Monopoli Prize" In Barletta). Chief of jury regional contest of Young Pianists 2003. Chif of cathedra special pianoforte Togliatty Institute of Arts 2003. Chairman of Samara Department of European Piano Teacher's Association (EPTA).
